Summary
ACMHR-K marks a major moment as it concludes the year. We will host the Completion Ceremony for its inaugural Ambassador Training Programme (Cohort 1) and Annual General Meeting, celebrating one year of impactful cardiometabolic health research and community action in Kenya.
Details
The Alliance for Cardio-Metabolic Health and Research – Kenya (ACMHR-K) is proud to announce a historic dual event bringing together two significant milestones in the organisation's journey.
In the morning session (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM), ACMHR-K will host the Completion Ceremony for the 2026 Ambassador Training Programme, Cohort 1 — the first ever cohort of trained Cardio-Metabolic Health Ambassadors in Kenya. Graduates will be formally presented with their Certificates of Completion and officially inducted into the ACMHR-K Ambassador Alumni Network. This milestone marks the fulfilment of a key organisational objective: building a community of trained advocates equipped to drive cardiometabolic health awareness, evidence-based communication, and community engagement across Kenya.
The afternoon session (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) will host the Annual General Meeting (AGM), commemorating ACMHR-K's first anniversary. The AGM will celebrate the organisation's groundbreaking publication in Trends in Food Science & Technology, review the successes and impact of Year One, and chart a strategic course for Year Two. Members, partners, and stakeholders are invited to participate in shaping the future direction of ACMHR-K.
Both events will be held at Valley Coffee, Yala Towers, 3rd Floor, Biashara Street, Nairobi, Kenya.
